SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping

Purchased products are shipped using a service selected by PlugOut Power.  Shipments to customers are sent by “Ground” transport.  Any other transport options mutually agreed upon will incur special charges to cover the shipping cost and handling.

PlugOut Power LLC uses a shipping cost estimator as part of the ordering process, which includes some cost allocation for handling.  Actual shipping costs are paid by PlugOut Power.  No money will be refunded or invoiced to the customer to bridge any cost differences.

Products are generally shipped within 2 business days, unless there are component backorders.  If shipping is delayed, the customer will be notified and kept updated as to planned shipping date.

PlugOut Power will provide shipment tracking information, when requested.

The customer should inspect any received product for shipment damage.  Any damage to the shipping box should be photographed prior to opening the box.  Likewise, any damage to product should be photographed as soon as it is noticed.  Cooperation/truthfulness is required.  Forward your photographs and comments as to circumstances to PlugOut Power at the earliest opportunity.  Additional information and photographs may be requested by PlugOut Power.  If damage found, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT OR USE THE DAMAGED PRODUCT UNTIL CLEARED BY PLUGOUT POWER.  The information will be presented to the shipper and some reasonable time allocated for their reaction.  Once the reaction by the shipping company is received by PlugOut Power, the customer will be advised of corrective action to be taken by PlugOut Power.  This action[s] may include: further information requests, inspection by the shipping company’s representative, return authorization, product replacement, or clearance to use the product.  Customer cooperation and truthfulness is required for these activities.  Non-cooperation in these actions may mean loss of warranty and loss of responsibility/liability of PlugOut Power for the product and subsequent use.  In the event of Product return or replacement, see the Returns Policy.  The customer may be responsible to dispose damaged product, if so requested.

Should the customer use a damaged product [reported or not] without reporting to and clearance from PlugOut Power, warranty is forfeit, and PlugOut Power will not be responsible/liable for any resulting personal, product and/or property damage.

Returns

PlugOut Power LLC sells and ships products in good faith that the product will work as advertised, is received by the customer in good working order, will be operated within its stated operational power and environmental limits, will not be carelessly or intentionally abused by the customer [physically or electronically].

If the product is found to not work properly, it must be reported to PlugOut Power at the customer’s earliest opportunity, with photographs and explanation as to why the product is found to be not working properly.  If damage found, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT OR USE THE DAMAGED PRODUCT UNTIL CLEARED BY PLUGOUT POWER.  PlugOut Power will require a reasonable amount of time to access the problems.  Additional information may be required from the customer and cooperation/truthfulness is required.  Non-cooperation in these actions may mean loss of warranty and loss of responsibility/liability of PlugOut Power for the product and subsequent use.  Remedial actions by PlugOut Power may include: local repair, return shipment to PlugOut Power, replacement by PlugOut Power, or a finding of product abuse by the customer.  Any return shipment to PlugOut Power will be made via trackable “Ground” service and require the return shipping cost [actual cost] be split between the customer and PlugOut Power [customer pays, PlugOut Power refunds the owed amount]. PlugOut Power will pay the full shipment cost of any replacement product/components shipped to the customer.  The customer may be responsible to dispose damaged product, if so requested.

PlugOut Power is the sole party to decide cause and corrective reaction, if any, to customer reports of damage or improper operation of the product.

Should the customer use a damaged product [reported or not] without reporting to and clearance from PlugOut Power, warranty is forfeit, and PlugOut Power will not be responsible/liable for any resulting personal, product and/or property damage.
